Minister checks on progress of Southern Jordan Valley projects

AMMAN — Public Works Minister Sami Halaseh on Wednesday checked on road and building projects the ministry is implementing in the Southern Jordan Valley District. Halaseh inspected the 38km Kathraba-Jordan Valley Road project, which connects Karak with the Southern Jordan Valley, according to a ministry statement.
The second phase of the project is expected to be finished by the end of the year, and the third phase in 2018. The minister also toured the expansion project of the Ghor Al Safi Hospital, which costs JD2.2 million.
