AMMAN — Hungarian President János Áder has granted HRH Prince Hassan the Commander’s Cross with the Star of the Order of Merit of Hungary.
Deputising for Áder, Hungarian Ambassador to Jordan Csaba Czibere on Monday awarded the medal to Prince Hassan, in appreciation of his efforts in supporting science and scholars.
The prince stressed the “deep-rooted” relations between Budapest and Amman, especially since Jordan has recently hosted the 2016 World Science Forum, which was organised by the Hungarian Academy of Sciences in cooperation with the Royal Scientific Society, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. HRH Princess Sarvath and HRH Princess Sumaya were present at the ceremony.
