Royal Court chief receives Indian minister

AMMAN — Royal Court Chief Fayez Tarawneh on Thursday met with Indian State Minister for Foreign Affairs M.J Akbar, who is visiting Jordan as part of a regional tour, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Tarawneh stressed Jordan’s keenness on enhancing ties with India in various fields, highlighing the visit of Indian President Pranab Mukherjee to the Kingdom last year.
For his part, the Indian minister commended the relations between the two countries and the role of Jordan in dealing with various issues, especially the refugee crisis and the humanitarian assistance it is providing to Syrians.
