Gov’t denounces Egypt terror attack

AMMAN — The government on Saturday denounced the terror attack that took place in Bir Al Abed in Egypt’s Northern Sinai on Friday in which 12 soldiers died and nine were injured.
Minister of State for Media Affairs Mohammad Momani voiced the government’s condemnation of the attack, which targeted soldiers on duty.
He offered the government’s condolences to the Egyptian people over the deaths, and wished the injured a speedy recovery, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. Momani, who is also government spokesperson, stressed Jordan’s support for Egypt in fighting terrorism.
