Amman to host award ceremony in ‘Innovate for refugees’ competition

AMMAN — The award ceremony for the “Innovate for refugees” competition will be held in Amman on October 4, organisers MIT Enterprise Forum (MIT EF) Pan Arab said on Monday.
The ceremony will recognise “the most innovative, tech-driven solutions tailored to the refugee crisis across the globe”, MIT EF said in a statement.
The competition, which is awarding $110,000 in cash prizes, was launched in June and over 1,600 applications were received.
