Mulki urges swift solutions to transport, traffic problems

AMMAN — Prime Minister Hani Mulki on Wednesday stressed the importance of finding swift solutions to traffic and transport problems, noting that the public should not pay the price of previous bad decisions, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
He made the remarks during a visit to the Land Transport Regulatory Commission (LTRC). Mulki urged the authorities to consider safety and accessibility when selecting locations of bus stops, ensuring that they are away from areas with heavy traffic. LTRC President Marwan Hmoud said a plan is in place to develop the public transport sector.
