Health minister forms committee to boost decentralisation in decision making

AMMAN — Health Minister Mahmoud Sheyyab on Tuesday formed a committee to study the jurisdiction that directors of health departments and facilities need in order to achieve decentralisation in taking decisions.

At a meeting with directors of health departments and hospitals across the Kingdom, the minister said improving health services is a government priority.

He stressed the importance of providing health facilities with qualified and trained cadres, in addition to equipment and maintenance services.
