Two dead, four injured in Saturday incidents

AMMAN — A man died and three people were injured on Saturday in a two-vehicle collision in Safi area, Karak Governorate, according to a Civil Defence Department (CDD) statement. Karak CDD cadres administered first aid to the injured and took them to Safi Public Hospital where their condition varied between fair and critical.
Also on Saturday in Bani Kinanah district in Irbid, a child died and her brother was injured after an iron door fell on them while they were playing in their house, Petra quoted sources from the Yarmouk Public Hospital as saying. The sources said first aid was administered to the injured child before he was transferred to Prince Rashid Military Hospital because he required emergency surgery.
