AMMAN — A poll conducted by the Social Security Corporation (SSC) with more than 2,500 respondents showed that some 89 per cent of them agree with the corporation’s special regulations targeting people working in hazardous professions, a statement issued by the SSC said on Sunday.
The regulations allow these workers to benefit from early retirement at the age of 45 even if their subscription periods are shorter than those working in other professions. The SSC started implementing the regulations early March of last year.
