‘JD2m earmarked to deliver drinking water to poverty pockets’

AMMAN — The government has allocated JD2 million to deliver drinking water to families that reside in poverty pockets out of municipality borders and receive assistance from the Social Development Ministry and the National Aid Fund, said Issam Majali, the spokesperson of the Planning and International Cooperation Ministry, on Saturday.
JD1 million will be provided from the productivity boosting project, and the other JD1 million from the General Budget Department as approved by the Cabinet, Majali told the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
