One dead, 14 injured in road accidents

AMMAN –– One man died and 14 were injured on Saturday in several road accidents across the Kingdom, according to the Civil Defence Department (CDD). A man in his 70s died when his vehicle overturned in east Amman.
CDD personnel took him to Al Bashir Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. In Irbid, two separate road accidents resulted in 12 injuries. CDD cadres administered first aid and took the injured to hospitals, where they were listed in fair condition.
Also on Saturday, two women were injured in a two-vehicle collision in Koura in Irbid. CDD cadres administered first aid and took them to Princess Raya Hospital, where they were listed in fair condition.
