U-23 team beats North Korea in 2nd friendly

AMMAN — Jordan’s U-23 football team beat North Korea 2-1 on Thursday in its second friendly in its UAE camp running until January 7. After a friendly against Syria was cancelled the team will played North Korea again, after defeating it 1-0 in its first friendly on Tuesday.
The team will next take on Uzbekistan on January 6 before concluding its training camp. It will then leave to Qatar on January 10 for the 2nd AFC U-23 Championship serving as Asia’s qualifying tournament for the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
