‘7,000 students admitted to vocational training institutes’

AMMAN — A total of 7,000 new trainees were admitted to the Vocational Training Corporation’s (VTC) 43 institutes around the Kingdom between August 1 and Saturday, VTC Director Majed Habashneh announced Sunday.
He added that the number of students has increased “remarkably” compared with the same period last year where it stood at 5,700, praising the positive change in society’s perspective towards vocational work, according to a VTC statement.
Habashneh also called on those interested in joining the corporation’s training programmes to register before September 13.
