Zakat Fund distributing JD3m to families in need

AMMAN — The Zakat Fund and its committees are distributing JD3 million in assistance during Ramadan, Fund Director Mohammad Lozi said Monday.
The aid includes monthly financial assistance to 6,000 underprivileged families, in addition to a JD50 Eid compensation totalling JD600,000, he said.
Lozi added that the fund will distribute 12,000 food and clothes vouchers, to be disbursed from civil and military consumer corporations across the Kingdom, to 12,000 families at a cost of JD25,000.
