AMMAN — The Public Security Department (PSD) on Sunday said its personnel detained four suspects in connection with a robbery in a mobile shop that took place on June 10.
The owner reported that unidentified people stole mobile phones worth JD30,000 from his shop, located in downtown Amman, according a PSD statement.
Investigators suspected two people, who have criminal records, and arrested them.
After initial questioning, they confessed to committing the robbery and selling the phones to two others who were also apprehended and found in possession of the stolen items and two pump-action rifles. The four suspects are still being questioned, the PSD said.
