Royal Court chief receives former German president

AMMAN — Royal Court Chief Fayez Tarawneh on Sunday met with former German president Christian Wulff, who is taking part in the third German-Arab Water Forum in the capital.
Tarawneh reviewed Jordan’s stances on regional and international developments, and commended the strong ties between the two countries.
He also highlighted the burden facing the Kingdom and its resources because of hosting a “huge” number of Syrian refugees.
Wulff commended the Kingdom’s role in dealing with regional challenges and its humane assistance to refugees, calling on the international community to increase its support to Jordan.
