Jordan flag hoisted on Ottawa municipal building

AMMAN — Jordan’s flag was raised for the first time on Monday at the municipal building of Canada’s capital, Ottawa, as part of the Jordanian embassy’s celebration of Independence Day.
Ottawa Mayor Jim Watson, Jordan's Ambassador to Canada Bashir Zu’bi, and members of the Jordanian embassy in Canada attended the celebration.
