Fahd Jaradat passes away

AMMAN — Former finance minister Fahd Mohammad Musa Jaradat passed away on Tuesday. Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour paid tribute to Jaradat, who was born in Bushra, Irbid, in 1930. He joined the Jordan Armed Forces in 1948 where he assumed several posts.
In 1970, Jaradat was appointed as finance minister. He also served as a military attaché in Iran. Jaradat, who was awarded several medals, took part in military training courses in the UK, the US and Pakistan.
