King meets former French premier

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah on Tuesday received former French prime minister François Fillon, who is currently visiting the Kingdom.
During the meeting, the King and Fillon reviewed Jordanian-French relations and stressed their commitment to strengthening them in the various fields and in a manner that boosts bilateral cooperation, according to a Royal Court statement.
His Majesty and France’s former prime minister reviewed the various current developments at regional and international levels, especially efforts exerted to confront the dangers of terrorism, along with other regional challenges.
Royal Court Chief Fayez Tarawneh and King’s Office Director Jafar Hassan attended the meeting.
