King reaffirms support for Egypt in call to Sisi

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah on Sunday strongly denounced the terrorist attacks that targeted Egyptian military and security bases in north Sinai, killing and injuring dozens of military personnel and civilians on Thursday.
During a telephone call with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi, the King expressed his condolences and sympathies to him and the families of the victims, wishing the injured a speedy recovery, according to a Royal Court statement.
The King stressed Jordan’s solidarity and full support for Egypt and the Egyptian people as they face such difficult times.
In the telephone conversation, King Abdullah and Sisi reviewed bilateral cooperation, regional developments and other issues of mutual concern.
