Amman municipality says skateboarding only permitted in designated areas

AMMAN — The Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) on Tuesday called on residents to raise their children’s awareness of the dangers of skateboarding on the streets.

GAM called for establishing a union or committee to regulate this sport, noting that there is an area for skateboarding at the King Abdullah II Park in Muqabalein.

GAM has recently finished another skateboarding area at Samir Rifai Park on Prince Mohammad Street in cooperation with Make Life Skate Life Organisation.
