AMMAN — The new draft law on the execution of rulings will be referred to the Lower House within days, Justice Minister Bassam Talhouni said on Tuesday.
Talhouni said a specialised committee of judges, lawyers and academics have thoroughly discussed the bill and agreed on the need for the proposed amendments.
The bill tackles issues that sometimes preclude the execution of court rulings and verdicts, and the question of repeated and unlimited appeals, he said.
