Health sector stakeholders discuss achievements, needs

AMMAN — Health Minister Ali Hiasat on Monday said the health sector needs an integrated vision to build on achievements.

He made the remarks during a national consultation forum for the health sector, which was held in cooperation with the Higher Health Council and the World Health Organisation.

HH Princess Dina Mired, director general of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation, and former health ministers attended the forum.

Public Sector Development Minister Khleef Al Khawaldeh said the ministry has been assisting in the development of healthcare service procedures, preparing guidebooks outlining each department’s services and identifying the services provided by the Health Ministry and the Jordan Food and Drug Administration.
