Momani receives US Senate delegation

AMMAN — Jordan has “historic and distinguished” relations with the US at all levels, Minister of State for Media Affairs and Communications Mohammad Momani said Tuesday.
At a meeting with US Senate delegation, Momani, deputising for Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour, expressed Jordan’s appreciation for US support to the Kingdom, which contributes to development projects and programmes.
He referred to the cooperation and coordination between the two countries towards regional issues and challenges, especially on the Palestinian issue and finding a permanent just solution to it.
Senator Elizabeth Warren commended Jordan’s efforts in achieving peace and stability in the Middle East.
