Marchers call for modern elections law

IRBID — Scores of Jordanians participated in a march on Friday, demanding a modern elections law, combating corruption and holding the corrupt accountable.
In the march that started following Friday’s prayers at Al Hashemi Mosque in Irbid, participants called for economic and political reform, in addition to unifying ranks and safeguarding the country’s unity.
Also, they denounced Israeli acts of aggression against Al Aqsa Mosque.
