Zarqa municipality granted radio broadcasting license

AMMAN — The Media Commission on Monday granted Zarqa Municipality a license for radio broadcasting, under an agreement signed between the two agencies in this regard.
Following the signing of the agreement, the commission Director Amjad Al Qadi said Zarqa municipality is the first one to obtain a license to launch a community broadcasting service that deals with community issues.
He highlighted Zarqa’s need for the service because it is one of the most populated governorates and home to several youth and sports activities.
Zarqa Mayor Imad Momani expressed his gratitude for the commission for facilitating the project.
