AMMAN — The Civil Service Council on Sunday endorsed several provisions in the civil service by-law.
At a council meeting, headed by Minister of Public Sector Development Khleef Al Khawaldeh, concerned officials made amendments to the mechanisms of selecting and recruiting public sector employees, assessing civil servants’ performance, job description and classification, and the criteria for choosing the winner of the Ideal Employee Award.
Khawaldeh said the ministry set these regulations in cooperation with the Civil Service Bureau as part of their joint project to revisit and update the civil service by-law and related instructions.
