Zaben receives two US military officials

AMMAN — Chairman of the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff Gen. Mashal Al Zaben on Sunday received Mark Fox, US Central Command deputy commander, and discussed ways to develop bilateral relations between the armies in the two countries.

US Ambassador to Jordan Alice G. Wells, the US military attaché, the Royal Jordanian Air Force commander Major Mansour Jbour and General Intelligence Department Director Gen. Faisal Shobaki attended the meeting.

Also on Sunday, Zaben received Rose E. Gottemoeller, the undersecretary of state for Arms Control and International Security, and discussed ways to enhance mutual cooperation and bilateral ties. Wells and the US military attaché attended the meeting.
