'8,000 new engineers join syndicate every year'

AMMAN — Jordan Engineers Association (JEA) President Abdullah Obeidat on Saturday expressed the association’s support of press freedom, stressing its openness to various media outlets, according to a JEA statement.
During a ceremony hosted by the association in honour of journalists and media institutions, JEA Secretary General Nasser Huneidi noted that of 8,000 new engineers join the syndicate every year.
Thirty-five thousand Jordanian engineers work abroad, 25,000 of whom work in Saudi Arabia alone, he added.
