Millett offers greater British support to Jordan in light of Syrian crisis

AMMAN — Interior Minister Hussein Majali and British Ambassador Peter Millett on Sunday discussed ways to boost cooperation and confront the consequences of the crisis in Syria.
Majali and the British envoy agreed on the need to pursue further cooperation, especially in security areas as well as expertise exchange.
For his part, Millett expressed his country’s understanding of the need for more assistance to help Jordan deal with the repercussions of the Syrian refugee influx.
