New journalists sworn in

AMMAN — Thirty-nine new journalists on Tuesday took the oath of office before Jordan Press Association (JPA) council members, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
During the ceremony, JPA President Tariq Momani called on the new journalists to be objective and accurate when covering news, voicing the association’s commitment to safeguarding their rights and freedoms.
The JPA has over 1,000 members.
