GAZA — A medical and humanitarian aid convoy, dispatched by the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organisation (JHCO), on Monday arrived in Gaza.
The commander of the Jordan field hospital in Gaza, Col. Barakat Aqil, received the eight-truck convoy which was laden with medicines, medical equipment, bottled water and clothes.
Aqil said the medical supplies will be sent to the health ministry in the strip which, in turn, will distribute them to hospitals and medical centres.
Water and clothes will be sent to charity associations for distribution to beneficiaries, he added.
He highlighted the JHCO’s ongoing efforts to provide the enclave with necessary assistance to mitigate the suffering of Gazans.
