Jordan needs int’l support to cope with Syrian crisis — Majali

AMMAN — Interior Minister Hussein Majali on Monday met with US Ambassador to Jordan Alice Wells and discussed the latest regional developments and means to enhance bilateral relations.
Talks focused on the consequences of the Syrian crisis on the Kingdom and its accompanying refugee influx.
Majali called on the international community to increase its support to resource-limited Jordan to enable it to continue offering humanitarian assistance to Syrian refugees.
Wells expressed appreciation for Jordan’s humanitarian efforts to Syrian refugees despite its economic troubles.
