Judeh, Qashou discuss Jordan’s efforts to support Gazans

AMMAN — Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh on Thursday met with Senator Hazem Qashou, who heads the Senate’s Foreign Affairs Committee to discuss the latest developments in the region, particularly the Israeli attack on Gaza.
Judeh highlighted the Kingdom’s efforts to support Palestinians in Gaza.
He stressed that Jordan is also working under the umbrella of the Arab League and the UN Security Council to call on Israel to abide with international laws and stop targeting civilians.
In a press conference following the meeting, the foreign minister noted that Jordan’s field hospital in Gaza has dealt with more than 9,000 patients since the latest Israeli attack on Gaza and more than 1.4 million cases since its deployment in 2009.
