Hashemite charity organisation distributes dates in southern region

AMMAN — The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organisation (JHCO) on Saturday started distributing dates to Jordanian and Syrian families in the southern region.
JHCO Secretary General Ayman Mifleh said 200 tonnes of dates will be distributed to 15,000 families in the area, starting with Aqaba Governorate.
He added that the JHCO has already distributed dates in the northern and central regions in the past few weeks, targeting underprivileged families on the occasion of the fasting month of Ramadan.
