Wihdat win Premier League title

AMMAN –– Wihdat won the Jordan Premier League on Thursday by beating That Ras 2-0. Monther Abu Amarah scored for Wihdat in the 11th minute and Rafat Ali doubled the score in the 88th minute. Needing three points to finish ahead archrivals Faisali, the win gave Wihdat the title with a week still to go in the season. Wihdat have 43 points, while Faisali, who beat Sheikh Hussein 1-0 on Wednesday, have 39 points.
