Jordan beats Algeria in women’s friendly

AMMAN — Jordan beat Algeria 2-1 on Thursday in the first of two friendlies in preparation for the 2018 AFC Women’s Football Championship.
The national team came back from behind after conceding an early goal, with Stefani Naber equalising and Shahinaz Jibrin scoring the decider, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
A second match against Algeria is slated for Sunday. The Algerian team is preparing for the qualifiers of the African Cup 2018.
