AMMAN — HRH Prince Omar bin Feisal, president of the Jordan Esports Federation, on Friday attended the second edition of the Women’s Esports Championship 2026.
The event was held at King Hussein Business Park, inside the “ARC” gaming dome, with the participation of around 400 Jordanian players.
Participants competed in six international titles across five individual competitions and one team-based (2 vs 2) format, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The games included FC 26, Valorant, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, PUBG Mobile, Tekken 8 and eFootball, in a professionally organised setting supported by advanced technical infrastructure.
The top three winners in each game were awarded prizes, with total prize money amounting to JD2,100.
The event reflects the federation’s efforts to expand women’s participation in esports, support talent development, and enhance opportunities for competition at the regional and international levels, while positioning Jordan as an emerging hub in the sector.
