KUWAIT CITY, Kuwait — At least one person was injured on Tuesday, Kuwait's defence ministry said, following the latest Iranian attack on the country.
"The injured individual is receiving the necessary medical care and is in stable condition," defence ministry spokesman Colonel Staff Saud Abdulaziz Al Atwan said, adding that four missiles and 10 drones had been "successfully intercepted and neutralised" at dawn.
Explosions were heard over the Bahraini capital of Manama on Thursday morning and air raid sirens sounded for a third time after Iran's military said it had targeted sites in the Gulf kingdom as well as in Kuwait and Qatar.
AFP journalists heard blasts in Bahrain's capital on Thursday morning and Kuwait said it was responding to hostile missile and drone attacks.
In Qatar, which has played a key role mediating between the US and Iran in recent weeks, residents received an alert warning of an elevated threat level, the first since the start of an April ceasefire between the US and Iran.
