Zarqa Municipality destroys 1.5 tonnes of expired food

ZARQA — Zarqa Municipality staff have destroyed 1.5 tonnes of snack foods in cooperation with the Rangers, Mayor Imad Momani said Wednesday.
The municipality seized expired chocolate, juice, potato chips, and ingredients used in making juice and sweets. The products were destroyed and the owners were fined and referred to the Rangers for the proper legal measures.
