AMMAN — The Youth Ministry and the Royal Health Awareness Society (RHAS) on Monday signed a cooperation agreement that aims at raising health awareness among the youth and enhancing health practices through youth projects, initiatives and events.
Youth Minister Fares Breizat said that RHAS youth centres will equip youth with healthy practices through several programmes, namely nutrition, physical activities, traffic awareness, in addition to raising awareness about the dangers of smoking, according to a ministry statement.
RHAS Director General Hanin Oudeh said that awareness raising among youth is essential as they form the biggest segement of society.
