AMMAN — INJAZ held a graduation ceremony for young leaders who received the Lazord Fellowship at the completion of a one-year programme offering training and work experience in different institutions with the aim of developing participants’ skills and enabling them to become leaders who are capable of realising positive change in their communities.
The fellowship programme is one of the solutions that INJAZ implements to connect young people with civil society institutions and eventual employment through its extensive partnerships, according to an INJAZ statement.
Chairman of the INJAZ Board of Directors Salim Karadsheh said that the programme is continuing for the eighth consecutive year due to the “fruitful partnership” between INJAZ and the Lazord Foundation.
Karadsheh noted in the statement that, to date, the programme has provided 88 fellowship opportunities for qualified fresh graduates. According to the statement, INJAZ develops and implements a series of curricular and extracurricular activities for schools, universities, colleges, youth centres, vocational training institutes and private centres in addition to building youths’ skills through its various partnerships.
