AMMAN — The British Council and Yarmouk University on Sunday signed an agreement under which the latter will host the IELTS exam.
The agreement aims to accommodate the increasing number of applicants from the northern region, and provide a suitable location for the exam, according to a British Council statement sent to The Jordan Times.
British Council Director Robin Rickard said the exam helps young people pursue their education, look for job opportunities and test their English language skills.
Yarmouk University President Abdullah Musa said this agreement will save time and effort for students from the northern region.
