World Bank delegation offers assistance for improving tenders system

AMMAN — Public Works Minister Yahya Kisbi and a World Bank delegation on Tuesday, discussed issues related to the Jordanian Online E-Procurement System.
Kisbi briefed the delegates, headed by Yolanda Tayler, practice manager in the Public Integrity and Openness Department of the World Bank’s Governance Global Practice.
The briefing focused on the ministry’s experience in procedures related to floating and implementing tenders, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Taylor expressed the World Bank’s readiness to contribute to organising workshops and courses for ministry employees and users of the system in the construction sector.
