Woman ‘stabbed to death’ in Madaba

AMMAN — A 58-year-old woman was reportedly stabbed to death on Monday in Madaba’s Theeban district. Madaba Civil Defence Department personnel had taken her to Al Nadim Hospital.

Hospital Director Wisam Karadsheh told the Jordan News Agency, Petra, the woman was dead upon arrival, noting that the victim received five stab wounds in different parts of her body.

Karadsheh added the body was transferred to the forensic medicine for autopsy to identify the cause of death, Petra added.
