Woman referred to attorney general on theft charges

IRBID — Ramtha Police Department on Wednesday referred a woman to the attorney general on theft charges, according to Brig. Gen. Obeidallah Maaytah, commander of the northern region police department.

The woman, who was arrested last week, is charged with robbing several women in a hospital in the northern region after offering them juice with sleeping pills. Another security source said the suspect had confessed to committing eight thefts, stealing the women’s money, mobile phones and jewellery.
