AMMAN — The meteorological forecasts department at “Weather Arabia” is closely monitoring substantial shifts in weather conditions, with sharp fluctuations expected to commence from Sunday evening.
It is expected that a state of weather instability will be looming over Jordan, arising from the collision of cold air masses from Europe with warm and moist air currents originating from the south, coupled with the extension of the Red Sea trough, according to the Arabia weather forecasts.
Sunday’s weather is predicted to be warm across various regions, reaching hot temperatures in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea and Aqaba. Weather instability is projected to initiate from southern regions, with sporadic rain showers expected in random areas, particularly in the southern, eastern and desert regions.
The impact on the Kingdom is anticipated to intensify on Monday, with random thunderstorms and rain showers forecasted in certain areas.
On Sunday, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) expects dusty and warm conditions in most areas, with clouds appearing at medium and high altitudes.
Monday will witness a noticeable temperature decrease, with unstable and relatively cold, partly to mostly cloudy conditions, accompanied by scattered rain showers expected in various parts of the kingdom. Some areas, especially in the south, may experience heavy rain accompanied by thunder and hail, according to the JMD.
The JMD has indicated a continuation of temperature decline on Tuesday, with partly to mostly cloudy skies and rain showers expected, especially in the western parts of the kingdom.
