AMMAN — The Water Ministry on Monday detected a violation on water pipelines in Um Al Amad. In statement carried by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, the ministry said that its employees, in cooperation with security agencies, detected an illegal fixture of a three-inch pipeline from a main carrier to supply farms, ponds and water tankers.
The ministry added that violators used to pump hundreds of cubic metres of drinking water, which is allocated to provide areas in southern Amman round the clock.
