Water Ministry signs deals to implement projects in Madaba, Irbid

AMMAN — Water Minister Hazem Nasser and contractors on Saturday signed agreements to implement projects in Madaba and Irbid at a total cost of JD250,000 financed from the Gulf Cooperation Council grant.

Nasser said the agreements include establishing a main control and complaint centre in Madaba to receive citizens’ complaints round-the-clock, which will be ready in less than five months and financed by the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development.

In Irbid, the same fund offered another grant to implement projects to provide water services in Kfar Abil town.
