AMMAN — The Water Ministry is willing to help re-operate all water facilities in Lebanon and provide drinking water to its citizens after a massive explosion at the Beirut port on Tuesday damaged the country’s water facilities, Water Minister Raed Abul Saud said on Saturday.
Abul Saud had telephoned Lebanese Minister of Energy and Water Raymond Ghajar and expressed the ministry's readiness to offer all support necessary to help Lebanon overcome this tragedy, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Ghajar praised the Kingdom's stances towards Lebanon and expressed gratitude over His Majesty King Abdullah's immediate directives to dispatch a military field hospital to Beirut to help provide medical services to the injured in the blast, Petra said.
